“We traced past impressions of his [Jordan Gogos] eponymous site, searching his family name through a digital graveyard.”
The series consists of three-dimensional extrusions of the collected data patterns. The website has been saved 849 times between October 3, 1999 and August 23, 2020.
Translating the frequency of the captures saved for the URL, the work is a direct reflection of the edited, erased and buried ‘spimes’ - digital artefacts that live and die on the internet.
